So many people working across so many different organisations in Bedfordshire are doing amazing work to improve the life chances of our young people and put a stop to violence and exploitation.
We are always open to hearing from other professionals in the field, whether that’s to find out more about our services or to refer someone for the specialist support that we offer.
We have worked with Dr David Kirby from Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Gangsline to devise a training package for frontline healthcare professionals around gangs, county lines and child criminal exploitation.
To view more information about the training visit the Gangsline website.
The resources below are some handy guides which may help you as you go about your business. You can also access free training resources via the Safeguarding Bedfordshire training link.
Bedfordshire Against Violence and Exploitation (BAVEX)
We lead the Bedfordshire Against Violence and Exploitation campaign, a multi-agency campaign led by lots of different agencies across Bedfordshire to raise awareness of all forms of violence and exploitation linked to organised crime in the county.
Find out more on the BAVEX website, or view this training video to find out more information about the signs to spot and how to report concerns.
